We believe in promoting truly sustainable products: ones that possess a minimal energy balance throughout their entire lifecycle, including manufacturing energy and the embodied energy resulting from resource procurement and transportation.
They should also actively contribute to promoting the circular economy, and enhance quality of life and the environment.

3. Circular Economy

We believe that products that are part of a design culture represent the ideal form of a sustainable circular economy. Instead of being disassembled and recycled, they are preserved in their original condition – and, occasionally, restored – to be passed on from one customer to the next, over generations.
Within this system, manufacturers, retailers, vintage dealers, and auction houses play a critical role.

4. Authorship, Tradition & Heritage

We are committed to showcasing products that have been authored by a known and respected designer or design team, who lends their work a particular identity and cultural currency.
We also believe that products are part of a cultural and artisanal tradition and serve as witnesses to the preservation of knowledge and culture.

5. Originality & Innovation

We will only present products that are original, where producers have entered into contractual relationships with designers or rights holders. Only then do they become authorized products and valuable cultural assets.
Originality also means innovation, where products often depart from well-known paths and sometimes result in commercial failures. However, this can lead to greater value appreciation and brand enhancement over the years, as they are often ahead of their time and produced in limited quantities.
